Engraved & carved oak
House names and signage, cut into solid oak.
Live-edge oak boards, engraved and hand-finished in the workshop at Llandow, and posted anywhere in the UK.
How they're made
Cut from a real board, not routed into a blank.
We start with a live-edge oak board — the waney edge left on, so the shape of the tree is still in it. Lettering and artwork are laser engraved, then cleaned back and finished by hand so the cut edges are crisp rather than scorched.
Finished in exterior oil for anything going outside, or left bare and waxed for interior pieces. Oak silvers with weather. Left outdoors and unoiled it goes the colour of the cliffs within a couple of years, which some people want and some very much don't. Tell us which you are.
